HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER Builders Merchant Full-time Job

Hitchcock and King LTD is an independent builders and timber merchant based in the London and surrounding areas, we have been serving our customers for over 40 years. We deal with D.I.Y and general public as well as local builders, offering them a great and personal service.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HGV Driver with a Class 2 license, who will be based at our Ashford, Middlesex, TW15 depot.

Key responsibilities, qualifications and attributes:

Daily vehicle safety checks

Compliance with legislation – drivers hours, highway regulations

Checking Vehicle Loads are secure.

Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records

Care of duty to self & others

Provide customers with the highest level of service

A good awareness and understanding of Health & Safety

Willingness to perform a wide range of duties

DCPC

Digital tachograph

Good communication skills

Mon- Fri 7am to 4pm

Sat 8am to 12pm alternate Saturdays

HGV Driving: 1 year (required)
