The Role

The SEO Apprentice will assist in delivering ATG’s digital strategy and vision to our large portfolio of clients.

As part of the SEO Apprentice role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Sales and Marketing team and our Customer Success team, providing on-going training and initiatives to keep the company updated on all things SEO. Keeping yourself and colleagues abreast of the latest ongoings in the world of search and conveying how this will relate to our clients and their digital strategies.

An understanding of SEO and digital as well as having fantastic communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Full ownership of the SEO queue, completing SEO tasks to a high standard and to tight deadlines.

Delivering SEO strategy to our portfolio of Managed Service clients that explains why SEO is vital to succeed in the digital world

Working alongside Marketing Specialists: aiding with planning to create successful campaigns

Working with SEO team to create new outputs / tasks based on new SEO strategy and any new opportunities identified

Ongoing research in to SEO and in particular what the best approach is for automotive websites

Being responsible for information security and data protection, and supporting the business in complying with any legal obligations imposed upon it through positive actions.

Technical Competencies:

Knowledge of SEO including technical, off site and on page

Knowledge of Google Business Profile and local SEO

Ability to understand NetDirector software and the SEO features within the platform

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of a technical subject in an easy to understand manner

A basic understanding of Javcascript / CSS / HTML would be desirable

Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel

Proven experience working for a digital marketing / SEO agency

Training / knowledge sharing experience

£16,000 - £18,000 per annum
